I'm a freshman in college myself so I have enough work on my hands as it is, not to mention I proof read almost every essay that is written on my floor (averages 2 a day). I would never help somebody cheat on an essay, I'll assist them to a point such as proof reading but I won't actually write it for them.

Things are so different in the Copywriting sub-forum, when compared to the Content Creation sub-forum... :D

Of course they are. ;) The Copywriting area is for discussions, and the Content Creation forum is strictly for advertising.

I agree I wouldn't have taken the job. Have you ever read Craigslist Curmudgeon blog? He posts these really awful writing gigs listed on Craigslist and his blog is so funny. He had one up from someone trying to do his homework -- and the kid was using his SCHOOL email address!!! So someone with real moral objections could have let the SCHOOL know that he was trying to cheat! Curmudgeon didn't publish the actual school e-mail though...just told us it was there. :)

That's right... I meant something else though...

People there would have tried to convince the client to give them the project to work on... Many people, I mean... :p

lol That's probably true. It's actually interesting to me - with the number of writers actually here, it feels like a pretty small percentage actually stop by this section to talk about writing.

It takes one skill to write and a completely different skill to understand/discuss/talk about writing ?

I think most just don't understand (or care about) the value of networking. If they're happy with just answering ads and not trying to learn, network, and grow, that's fine for them. And I'd bet some don't even know the section's here.

Yup. Without a desire to learn, improve and take tips from other writers, a writer will be stuck.
The point is mute if someone is in it just to make money though.
