What is your favorite background color?
What is your favorite text and background color combination?

 

Black background and yellow or light green text also gold text!

 

Hmm... let's see. White. White background, then dark gray text (5c5c5c).

 

Grey background with white text... If it is on a website?

 

I like black and orange combination.

 

I love greens at the moment.. grey background- with whites and bold greens - and maybe blues too

i like sky blue background and red foreground color. It really seems pretty good.

 

Depends on the site, but I like black background with a bright green, really stands out.

Anyone still use gradients? They are clichéd, but I like them. Get or create a gradient image and then upload it your site (or to photobucket or picasa) and use it for your blog.

Forest green to black gradients are cool. Red is too much for the eyes unless it is very muted.

 

it depends on the subject really, for colors to work on different subjects most of us have some pre-conceived ideas

 

I like gradients but can never get them to work. How big does the image need to be?

 

I like the classic. Black on White.

I fall asleep looking at BLACK screens.

I leave the colours and highlights to the header image, the sidebar and links and stuff like that.

 

You can use an image that is however high you want and then just make it one pixel wide and repeat it

and then you just pick the colour at the bottom of the gradient and make the rest of the page that colour so it looks like it flows together.

If the image is only one pixel wide, the page will load faster...

White for BG and Black / gray for text . I am not a great fan of dark BG
