I have not written a post about my drop from pagerank 4 to Pagerank 2 on my blog but it had not affect myself yet because i feel google pagerank had lost its intend and many more, nowadays many advertisers and clients who requested for stats do not care much about pagerank. While the update drops my blog to a pagerank 2, i am sure there are people who are given a higher pagerank. Why not let us all know here.
Nope, nothing has changed on my end Really hope to see a better PR. I know it is useless but it gives some bragging rights.
Just because your site doesn't update doesn't mean there was not an update. I'm not saying there was one but it's funny how everyone automatically says "Nothing happened to my site,no update yet."
The update is just for blogs that accepting paid reviews. it was selected blogs only and one of them is my PR5 that went to PR3...
My site PR has not changed in past 2 PR updates. Anyway, the real thing that matters is your rank in search results
Google recently got a lot more aggressive about backlink baiting, text link ads, and paid reviews. If you have engaged in these tactics, there is a chance that is the driver for your page rank drop. I am a seo consultant, and I have seen this happen with several clients that I am working with. Best, Sam
My review blog dropped from PR3 to PR0 ( as i was involved in Payperpost) but my serp is still same and the traffic for blog is increasing day by day. SERP is more important than PR. Thanks...
I think there's a common misconception that pagerank doesn't matter. While it's true that Pagerank doesn't matter -as much- as it used to, it is still a very important factor. For example, when you write a new page on your blog or put up a new product in your catalog, the pagerank of your site -does- impact how well you will rank with that new page. And that impact is fairly significant. So while SERPs on relevant keywords are definitely more important than pagerank, it's also not a good idea to ignore pagerank completely. Best, Sam
i went from 3 to n/a ...to me it doesnt mean nothin no more..its such a faulty system..and to think its from google...hmmm
