my 500G is nearly stacked, only 78G lieft...those 10.1MP files are chewing me a new juan

 

ur using more than 400GB?? ..wow..lol..

i have 300GB HDD on PC, and im only using like 40GB..., and i even have a 250GB SATA External HDD..haha..LOL

i can burn 20GB on one vacation shooting with my big guns

 

I am using 80 gb hdd

 

1x 320Gb Seagate in Gaming rig
5x 500Gb Seagate 32Mb cache drives (RAID 5) in server - full format of 2TB of data takes about 3 minutes

Hey all, TB drives are getting cheap. I just saw one that is external, so it can be used on any computer and is less than 300. It was a compusa mail advertisement. This should solve anyone's hard drive needs. Mike, check this out.

I heard that. in fact all this talk about TB and buffers and such...I am this close to going out and buying an internal 1TB and an external 1TB to replace my internal 500GB and my external 500GB

 

i really got bad experience with 3 maxtor drives. i will never touch maxtor anymore. i have never got problem with seagate.

I'm the opposite, had 2 Seagate's STB on me in like 4 months...bad & taste in my mouthing area...good thing is that they have a quick turn on the new drives and they're only 1 day shipping from me

I'am planning to buy a slr camera myself, but mid range and way smaller than that.

I can learn some photography tricks from you though

 

can't go wrong with Canon or Nikon IMO

HDD update...my store upgrade will have to wait @ least until next month, 4GB of ram and a new CPU cooler was today's purchase!

something like that, everyone swears by them but they've bitten me in the A-word more than once!! But then again, they don't call me "the hard drive killer" for nothin'

 

I have 320GB internal, 40GB internal (from my old PC, just shoved it in there for the hell of it), 400GB external, and I use about 600GB of space so far... lost of music/videos/pictures/etc

 

a 40! damn!! actually, i think i have some 60's though

 

lol aye, my old computer was bollocks, hence why I have an external as well.

Might have to delete some of my videos soon, getting too clogged up.

Im wanting to get some SATA HD's, but if I open my computer again in the next year then it voids the warrenty. Might just get one anyway, fuck it my computer ain't going to break on me *touch wood*
