Nobody knows when the next update will be. We can only guess and wait. Try to get some strong high pr backlinks if you want to increase pr. But I suggest to work on serps instead of pr. Higher serps = more visitors = more $$$ Higher pr is just more green in the bar.
Eka is right when you find your Analytics reports that you are not getting more than 20 visitors a day, than you will realize does your site is not enough good to visit. It's not like that, get better rankings. and having thousands of visit daily on your website will bring smile on your face. PR is worthless. Still update may occur in middle of Apr. or in late of Apr. 2008.
before i started adding backlinks, i had a page rank 2 now that i added links i still have the same page rank, can anybody tell me whats the purpose of building links? i want to be high up in the serps. when i look up referring sites, none of the links brought any traffic. the most traffic come from forum members being noisy.
PR is worthless? So, if you can only accept one link from two sites. SiteA is PR1 and SiteB is PR7 and all other things are equal, which do you choose? It's doesn't matter? Yah right. Plus, notice that the top sites for any query have the highest PR, (with a few exceptions). Notice that as you go down the SERPs, 20, 30, 40... the PR drops! Plus, if you have high PR, others will flock to link to you. Doesn't matter my ass!!! Bompa
No one knows exactly when google is going to update their page rank in the mean time you should be consistently building backlinks.

Hmmm... I was assuming it would be april. I'm hoping it'd be April to regain some ranking I lost in a handful sites.
