A Header and Couple of Forum Markers paying $30 for each.

Heya All just me again need some more graphics making and doing contests has been a great source for them for me so far so, here goes again.

Header –

What I’m after firstly is a header image for a site called The Dark Demise.

It should contain the text “The Dark Demise” and be in a darkish theme, the forum is a Harry Potter Role Play site so images relevant to that would be great colour scheme for the forum can be seen at www.thedarkdemise.com so please work off that.

For the images you shouldn’t use any pictures of the actual characters from the movies, instead images of like the school, a death eaters mask, maybes a phoenix? You can have a creative reign over that as I suck at graphics, lol.

Size should be default at around 860 x 140 but have an area within in which could have a repeat added to make it fit a fluid layout.

I will pay $30 for the header to the winner.

Forum Markers –

I need two images making one should be for new posts and one for old posts.

Maybes something 90 x 90

This could be something again like the Hogwarts Coat of arms? Crossed wands or Death Eaters masks? Be creative if you can as I only ever seem to see the same things from these.

I will pay $30 for the person that makes the best set of these too.

TheSites: Those are an improvement but still need some work as they look a little bland, not sure what but they need something....sorry.

untitledstudios: I love that castle image and like how it blends across to the moon, could that maybes be replaced with a close up of a death eater? Maybes have the blur behind them as if they had just apperated there like they do in the movies where they trail the dark behind them? If not the moon would do. I think that the text needs some work though as it doesn't quite do it for me if you wouldn't mind but your closest to what I'm looking for at the moment.

simasas: Sorry that's not the type of graphic I'm looking for.

untitledstudios: Again with the forum markers you are the closest however I tried them on the forum and it didn't look quite right as the background doesnt match that of the forum, the background would have to be #192430 around the edges or have some kind of border around them. Instead of black and white could you maybes make it brown scaled to match the brown on the forum skin as that would look good I think.

jmul7: I like the right hand side of your banner but the rest of it is a little plain for my liking and the text needs something not quite sure what but it grows on me the more I look at it. The forum markers are again a little too plain. But I like the idea of basing them on the Hallows.

 

K i changed em a bit, here are the new ones. Feedback?

Here's my new banner, including updated text, plus images of Voldemort, Fawkes and the Sorting Hat. The patterned area can be stretched on either site to extend the banner's width.

 

Banner:



Made the death eater blend with the moon so it portrays the concept that you wanted.

Added a border on both images with the color that you've asked for. Made the "no new posts" brown, exact color on the website.

 

TheSites: Still not what I'm looking for sorry.

jmul7: It's getting better the text is pretty perfect and I like the image of Voldie if you could move the text to the right so that Voldie's face is above the "Dark" and to the left of the "The" and that side would be pretty perfect but loose the pheonix and castle from behind the text. Something will be needed in the centre of the image to fill the rest of it maybes a castle like that of untitledstudios as I really like that but if you do that the right would need to be redone. Sorry, lol

untitledstudios: I like the text on jmul's if you could maybes work towards that? I love the castle and the moon and the Death Eater is looking cool too.

The forum markers still don't jump out at me tho, could you maybes remove the shine and only brown the actual badge instead of the whole background?

Removed the gloss, instead of the all brown one, I made only coat of arms, black&white and the rest the color that you've asked for.

The Banner text still isn't right I think I've fallen in love with the text on jmul7's and the pic of voldie is nice too, if you could take that and add it in on the right of yours to blend the two together it would be perfect.

Would one of you or both of you be willing to sell the .psd's @ a price then I could merge the two or give one of you the others to apply the finishing touches.

jmul7: I LOVE the text and voldie but the rest isn't doing it for me as I like what untitled has done if you could mimic something more to suite that or do as I suggested above?
