Google gerenally updates its PR quarterly but not exactly after 90 days, there may be some difference in updation days

Well, they have done so far.
Rumours are that they might make it a slightly more regular occurence.

Sigh. Why worry? PR is dead.

All that matters is visitors and SE rank.

What is SE rank? And I would hardly say PR is dead. I have had people that refuse to buy sites without PR no matter how well off they are.

Search engine rank - what position you are at in the search engines for a given search.

OK PR is not dead, but pointless.

I have a site which was PR4, then Google penalised many directories and blogs selling text links (where I had bought them) and my site went down to PR 0 on all pages. But I still rank highly in the search engines and have grown the traffic to the site.

So would you pay less for my site now?!

Only ignorant people or those buying MFA sites base their judgment on the PR. Also Google updates PR frequently, it is only the toolbar which is updated almost every quarter.

But where you can see it? That was the point of my question. In toolbar in webmaster area... there it changed only when they update PR each few months.

If we are talking about Google Toolbar's PR, I wouldn't care for the update at all. This tool just gives you the overall idea how your page ranks, and istead 10 scales, in my eyes it has only 3 - New site, Average Site, Good Site. An change of 1-2 ranks through google toolbar shouldnt bother you, since this is not the real internal rank that Google paid billions for to be created.

OK, to get the point. WHY i asked. I have one site with PR n/a lol
and it is 1st position on google for a month or so with VERY good keyword. And other has PR4 and is out of the game....
That is WHY i asked, is there a way to check somehow curent PR, to understend if it is still vital to have nice PR to be on top....
    anyway thanks for answers.

PR is losing its value. I think PR update is not anymore once in 90 days as it was...
