That video shows why anyone that sells affiliate products hates Zango, (thank you Wikipedia).

Users hate Zango because it is something that in many cases is automatically installed on their computers without their permission or knowledge as sneaky affiliates still get their commission either way.

Does it generate a lot of money? Yes, and so do tactics such as spamming but it doesn't mean that you are helping your visitors or the general infrastructure of the internet.

Does it pay? Yes, they want to keep their affiliates happy.

Summary: Yes it pays, yes it is good money, yes it is selling out your visitors, yes it steals from other webmasters.

50% of marketing in general, is probably unethical. Adware works, but so do spamming. At the end of it all, some people don't care if their hated just as long as they make money. But zango has always been in legal troubles in the past so its not like they're not known for it.

Using Wikipedia as your bible is your first mistake.

Utterly untrue. The Zango toobar is NOT automatically installed on visitors computers without their permission or knowledge. If this were the case they would be shutdown. They would be forced to re-emerge under a different identity every couple of months, if not weeks. The visitor MUST give their consent before any installation occurs.

50% of my customers were former Zango advertisers. At the same time, I can't seem to get away from them. When I first started internet marketing I dl'd the toolbar for prospecting purposes. In theory, it worked great. Every time I would enter a keyword/URL/coughed I'd get a Zango pop-up and then contact the advertiser. Because my network is less expensive than Zango pops, it was mostly a no brainer for anyone I talked to. The problem was when I started getting forced pops and the ads I was getting served had some malware associated with it. Long story short I had about 875 infections on my computer.

At any rate, if anyone is looking for a Zango (Advertising) alternative, feel free to PM me.

    875 infections whether it's malware/adware/spyware/tupperware isn't a pretty thing to see.

How ever you defend zango you can't deny that you are paid by the company stealing commission.

Its useless if you have NON Us traffic. If you already have have a well established website with tons of traffic, than you can try for it but really, there is nothing Great about the product.

If you see at DP, the good reviews are only posted by those who are having zangocash in there signatures.

Well Tom, I have to say...Tupperware can come in handy...lol..But seriously, I didn't know that about Zango Cash. I am promoting a couple of their items, but I only have $3.75 in installs, so not sure how much of it I actually believe to be true (As in people installing without their knowledge) Anyhow, My ears are open for alternatives. I would like to hear some of your suggestions. PM Me.
    Thanks!

Yes, correct. There is a terms of agreement that the user must accept to install the zango toolbar. If they are too foolish to don't read what they are installing, then they better don't use internet at all (or they deserve and dont mind about the ads from the zango toolbar ;) ).

It is not just the website you have and how established it is, it is important that the traffic must be auto-renewing, it means mostly new visitors.

The Zango company has legal issues, but all of them are resolved and they do nothing wrong, if they were - they would be shut down years ago...

I am personally very satisfied with ZangoCash. I make more money in a month that I have ever made since I am using internet. ;)

You are a dumbass kid, for $20 a day you are losing future sales as zango replaces affiliate ids. Maybe when you get older you will actually understand.

From what I have researched, they were replacing affiliate IDs in the past, when they were still named "180solutions". And yes, I am a kid (16 year old), what is your problem with that?

The video he posted does not lie, but shows how Zango really works.
They do require the visitor to agree to the install, but a lot of the
installs are by kids playing games or watching videos, and they don't even
bother to read the tos. I do wish everyone would stop saying they are
spyware, adware is the correct term, although that doesn't change what
this install really does. I still see it as a worthless install that I haven't
heard anyone say they really want.

That is correct, but as long as those kids want to access the videos and games, they then have to accept to see the ZangoCash ads on the toolbar. If not, don't play/watch them - nobody forces them. It is just like a normal website advertisement with different concept. If you want to visit a site, you don't mind the AdSense don't you?

They get paid when people who install view the ads on the toolbar.
