    My site is www[dot]backgroundcheck-resources[dot]com

Since February of 2007, a little over 1 year ago, it fell off any google search results.

I spent one year waiting for it to go back on search results.

in you u look there are 110 indexed pages in google, but not a single one will show up in any results, using the Title as keywords.

The site is NOT NEW.. I cant say it falls into the sandbox theory..

Any wiseman out there to tell me what they think is happening?

    Thanks
    Terry

You can have a PR0 and still find a site using The title: Especially if the title is uniqe With Long Tails!

    Anyone willing to challenge this?

I found 89 back links for your website.
It's not in sandbox. one more thing you just need to revised your title tag.

PR has nothing to do with SERP.

your site is indexed and have 89 known backlinks. have lots of pages with your link and you will be getting more backlinks soon. i think you need to spend some time on on-page optimization. not sure how you are building backlinks but using an anchor text for backlinks will help you with SERP. your site also doesn;t have much content and i would suggest to ad little more content with keyword density of 4-7% for yor main keyword in mind.

also, i think you are having some visitors from search results. pay attention to analytics or whichever tracking you are using. 1.4 million alexa rank usually means that your are getting SOME visitors (54% of your traffic is from U.S. which is also a great plus).

This site has less backlinks than my other background check site located in my signature yet my serp is really good with google

So i cant say that the backlinks will improve much.. there is something deeper than this that is happening to prevent me from having any serp at all with the problem background check site.

That very problem site was #3 in google under keyword background check back in Feb 2007. Then it just fell off the screen.. We couldn't even find its index for a few months. Then in July or August we seen the indexes pop back up but NO SERP...

Under Yahoo this site is #3.. Google analytics shows 65% of the traffic coming from yahoo 20% from MSN and the rest from referring or direct traffic. But again Nothing from google...

So someone tell me something else as a reason!

Keep workin on it. Maybe you relaxed too long while there was traffic on your site doing nothing, while your competitors were busy developing their sites and seo.

If only that were the case I would be a happy camper! At least I would know what course of action to take.

You are # 58 for "background check resources".

Keyword density on main page for "background check" is 18.5% far too much, compared with your competition. Add some text to lower KW density and you'll probably be astonished with the results.

Hilarious, first of all, the search link fucntion in google is not showing all of the backlinks the site has. The only way to check them all is to enter in webmaster tools and see the number there. Second, page rank does not exist, you can read everywhere about it, people are just too bored to do it. The only and real Page Rank is iternal and you can't see it. The one you can, through the google toolbar is completely wrong and inaccurate, it has nothing to do with real page rank, and people should not even look at it.

Man, no offense you have alot to learn. Just get more links and then add more links. Thats all.

Also google doesnt like sites that yahoo likes. on purpose.

    then add more links.
