Its because its only a month old and google probably hasnt updated pr yet. Dont worry about google toolbar pr anyway, it doesent really matter.

Your site has Pagerank, Google updates it real time behind the scenes. The visual Pagerank your seeing now is updated every 3-4 months, untill your site is live during one of these updates you'll always show N\A. However, even after the update you might still be a PR0.

Chances are you won't get an increase if you do not have good backlinks; PR is based on the number of quality backlinks pointed to your website and unique content.

Content has nothing to do with the factored value of Pagerank.

First correct opinion about PR for tonight.

On the topic, your site is new, and even if there is half of '-' that much true in the Google Toolbar Page Rank tool, you would see a change after few month(s). Also, if you made something, and you saw your PR raise, don't think this is the right way, I saw a guy today duplicating content on purpose cause google toolbar showed increasement of 3 to 4, and this is simply hilarious.

Cheers, and keep up the good work. Remember, quality links, clear code and good content. By good understand content that is close to what search engines find to be the perfect one, and to do this, they use Latent Semantic Indexing (LSI), patented back in the 1988. The whole process is called Latent Semantic Optimization or LSO.

Man, we need to let Google know that! They apparently don't realize that they are wasting  all those millions of dollars on algorithms, extra computers, and software engineers on something (PageRank) that "really doesn't matter".

Hello Jim, thank you for the un-needed sarcasm. First, you really have to introduce yourself to Google Toolbar's Page Rank which is a whole different world, separate from the one where the real Page Rank lives.

You practically CANNOT check the real Page Rank of a page, it's internal, it updates DAILY. While Google Toolbar's PR is far from accurate, and has almost nothing to do with the real Page Rank. There are two stikies in the most famous forums, check out Page Rank section on Seo Chat Forums and read the sticky, check out the same at High Rank Forums, and read the sticky again. Or wait, Matt, is that you, lol. The same goes for any online tool to check your page rank.

I will make the things easy for you, the quote is from SEO Chat sticky post.
Then check again what the guy, to which I answered said:

Then check again the threads I told you about, if you still think Google Toolbar's Page Rank means ANYTHING, then I really don't want to waste my time with you. :)

P.S. One more case with Page Rank -1, thanks god we have Google Toolbar to tell us the insanely accurate page rank, right?

One more that has to read something about Google Toolbar's Page Rank measurement. Please read my post fully, cause you didn't :).

    In addition, full quote:

    AMEN!

If you still don't believe it, live with your precious google toolbar, and get higher rankings according to her for duplicated content, or negative rankings. Hilarious.

You should see the PR change on your site somewhere within the next 6 months. Just keep building great links and good content.

Try to increase traffic and backlinks for your website. Update your website with rich and effective content. Getting PR is not the most considering thing to do, as you say that site is about a month old wait for few months.

icetrax, let's bury the hatchet. I can see that you and I were apparently focusing on different parts of the post I commented on.

I was referring to the statement, often quoted on DP, that says things like "PR is useless" or "PR doesn't really matter" (as in the quote to which you added a comment). But I can see now that you were essentially not referring to that incorrect statement, but to some people's misunderstanding of toolbar PR. If that's the case, my apologies for the inappropriate sarcasm. :)

Concerning your extensive post "introducing" me to the toolbar-versus-"real"-PR distinction, let me set your heart at ease on that. I am thoroughly familiar with that. I'm not a newbie in these things. I took my first computer course (programming) in grad school 42 years ago (yes, I'm that old ). I've been actively involved with computers for the past 22 years. I'm quite well aware of Google's constant tweaking of PR internally, which is only exported to the toolbar every few months or so. But seriously, I think we both misunderstood which part of that guy's post the other was addressing. Peace, my friend!

One more thought in closing. Statistically, mathematically speaking, unless one's webpage is going to change at least one toolbar PR number between toolbar exports, then the toolbar PR and the internal "real" PR are, by definition, pretty nearly identical. For example, if I was a PR5 in the last toolbar export and stayed at PR5 in the next toolbar export, then my "real PR" in between those two was almost certainly the same PR5. The only time that the toolbar PR and the internal, "real" PR will be noticeably different is when the next toolbar export will show a shift up or down by one or more. For most webpages at most times, especially for established sites that have come to somewhat of a PR equilibrium, there will be little if any difference between the internal PR and the toolbar PR. Only for a PR-increasing or a PR-decreasing webpage is there likely to be a noticeable difference between today's "real", internal PR and the currently published toolbar PR.
