I have submitted my web to some payable directories duiring the las year. But checking backs I did not find any links from any of them. Why is that? Google ignores backs from directories? In this case, there is no reason to submit web to directories any more. Please, I am confused
Maybe the pages are not all indexed, i think supplemental exists? just that its not shown in an abvious way anymore.
if you are talking about the link: command in google, it won't show even 5% of your links, your links can be found at google webmaster central or yahoo site explorer. now if you are talking about google webmaster central, the problem sometimes is that, if you used the same "descriptions" in all those directories, google may not show even half of them.. a link is still a link, but webmaster central is another story. finally, to be sure that you are getting a value from those directories, check the page where your site is listed with the cache: command, if it's there, then ur link is valuable.
Indeed, and keep 12 keywords in top10 at the same time. I do nothing to be panished. I welcome only white seo.
post the directories you have submit to,so we can see what is happening.Did you check your backlinks through yahoo?is more acurate than google for backlinks.
One possible reason can be you submitted the same description/title/meta's etc to all the directories you submitted. Hence google may not be showing it up. Moreover, google or other search engines do not show up all the linkbacks to your website.
Try to change the description (I know it's hard work but still) when submitting to different dirs. Otherwise many will be considered as duplicate content.
Lots of directory links: http://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.co...ww.accounting-on-line.com&bwm=i&bwmf=a&bwms=p
type in google this: accounting-on-line.com + directory, 1950+ cached results (almost all are from directories).
