No, that's not too late - the contest been extended till Friday.

I like your entry. What's especially good:
a) That piece of graphics next to the play button.
b) quality of the buttons and text. The buttons are shiny and glossy as they should be.
c) there is enough room for the status bar. You did not put it, but it should be there. I see it under the artist name.
d) scroller and volume control are very good

What I don't like and what should be worked on:
a) The color. It's too dark, bright and solid at the same time. Would you play with the color? What I would do if I had the layered psd files, is to change the opacity of the violet to, let's say, 50%. And then to change the color pallet from violet-based to several other colors, just to see which one looks better.
b) the button under the "lyrics" button is actually an "embed" button. The one you provided is not recognizable as such. Would you play with it too? The standard embed icon looks like this "<>". the acceptable text would be something along the lines: "copy me", "embed me" or similar.

neilparnham, like I already said, I really like the quality of your photoshop work. Speaking of general feel and look of the player, I'd suggest you look here:
whateverlife.com - it's the collection of free myspace layouts that are really, really, really popular among 16-25 year old girls. Don't get me wrong - quality of the layouts is real low. But the feel and look is so good, that the girls are just screaming to get them ;-)

1) Would you remove the song's length (02:45)?

2) Would you play around with the position of the status bar? Since there is enough space for it, would put it under the artist name, and move a song position ruler a bit lower?

Please keep the backups of all your work, I might ask you to provide the .psd for the current version, uc-player3.png.

JoKeRuLLz, I see that you did not get to read my feedback on your previous submission.

I like the feel and look of your submission, I don't like the fact that your player provides wrong functionality. There should not be bitrate info. There should not be sound levels indicators. There should be a status bar.
