i think starbucks is untouchable on the west coast, their best competition is Coffee Bean & Tea leaf but starbucks is on top

You haven't tried a $25 cuppa. I had it once and thank God I am not the one paying. It comes with two tiny pieces of cookie and that's it. Though you can refill as many times as you want. That would be 8 cups of Starbucks coffee, if you can handle that much caffeine.
For coffee, i do spend much for starbuck rather than other coffee house. Already hang out at dome, coffee bean, san francisco, etc..but the feeling of starbuck's coffee can't be fading.
