While going through our records recently, we found that your AdSense
account has posed a significant risk to our AdWords advertisers. Since
keeping your account in our publisher network may financially damage
our advertisers in the future, we've decided to disable your account.

Please understand that we consider this a necessary step to protect the
interests of both our advertisers and our other AdSense publishers. We
realize the inconvenience this may cause you, and we thank you in
advance for your understanding and cooperation.

If you have any questions about your account or the actions we've
taken, please do not reply to this email. You can find more information
    by visiting

I beg to disagree with the first reply...

My account was actually banned 4 weeks ago by Google.

The message as shown on your post is the exact message I got.

I appealed using the form provided by Google and stated the facts.

I backed-up those claims with info such as:

    * how I promoted the site
    * where my visitors came from
    etc etc

    * And the best info I know that reversed the ban is including
stats and raw info on my weblogs ( its how you track visitors
    by their IP numbers)

A week later, my account was re-instated. I checked. Google is paying me money they owe, scheduled to be deposited
    into my account 6th April...

    I hope this helps...

I think you were banned because the site or the traffic is low quality. Make some improvements and email them asking why and what changes you should make.

Make sure your appeal is worded appropriately and that you don't make any personal comments in the appeal. Just give them the real truth and data and you will probably be re-instated. Unfortunately, all your earnings will be gone no matter what.

And whatever you do, NEVER, EVER go on the Adsense Support Forums. There are freaks in there that will stalk you until your dying day trying to screw with your site.

It sucks, but I got banned last year when some freak from the Adsense Support Forums click-bombed me. I reported my suspicion of invalid clicks to Adsense (of course they never replied) and even removed the sites the click-bomber had targeted from Adsense. Well, right before I was due my biggest Adsense check ever, I got the message you just did. I appealed and was re-instated a month later (after I had to remove Adsense from 60+ sites) but they confiscated over $1740 in earnings.

I have Adsense on some of my sites now (10-15% of my inventory) and only enough to make $100-$200 per month. I don't trust Adsense at all. They banned the owner of another popular forum and confiscated over $20K in earnings from him right around the time I got banned. He was spending $250K per year in Adwords, so he pulled all his accounts.

Google is having serious financial troubles right now, so I'd strongly advise all publishers to use alternatives like PepperJam, Kontera, ClickBank, etc...

Oh, and one more tip. If you are using Adsense, make sure to put all your ads into channels and you can go into the "advanced reports" section of your account and set it so that your clicks, impressions and earnings report is emailed to you daily. I suggest keeping those records should you ever have to go to small claims court against Google. It's not spoken about much but hundreds of publishers have been winning small claims court judgements against Adsense as long as they have their records. Unfortunately, Adsense will not let you back into your account once you've been banned, so be proactive and backup your data.

this is not the first time i heard this kind of feedback. thats tells that google doesn;t always take fair decision and their click fraud detection technology or whatever they call it is flawed. way to go google..

Were you getting a lot of clicks in a short time period? That may be why they banned you.

I have also been banned by Adsense for an unknown reason. They do not want to say the reason! I did get a threat from someone who said he was going to bombard my websites with clicks and get me banned from adsense. I appealed and gave them all that information but 2 days later received a response that my appealed was denied.

From now on, I only use CPA ads because I am scared I am going to get banned from other CPC networks.
I think it's completely unfair that Google punish innocent people. And they owed me my revenue from the past 3 months because I did not reach minimum payout in the previous months. How the hell the clicks from 3 months ago have anything to do with the dude who bombarded me with clicks 1 week ago!!!

It does not make any sense. I hate Google now!

I read a lot of people getting banned "for no reason" as they say.

When i started with adsense, 6 months ago, i was a total newbie about it. I even was shocked that my semi-under-construction website was admited for adsense.

I did a lot of mistakes, i even clicked 1-2 times by mistake my own ads, during the editing of the website. I made tones of my own impressions. I changed provider and i was down for 2-3 days.

I NEVER got ANY warning, or i got banned. Because i'm 1000% legitimate, i started to build my small empire, with no bought traffic or links, slowly, with a lot of work.

So, i guess people that get banned, have done something wrong. Google has no reason to ban accounts for no reason.

Did you tell your friends and family how you make money with Adsense? Did they try to "help" you by clicking your ads?
