    No, you can't do so.
You can 1 bank account to 1 paypal account at a time.

There is no harm trying but if I am not wrong, once a bank account has been used with one account, it cannot be reused even if it has been removed.

I'm not sure about that.. I deleted one of my PayPal accounts ages ago, and just recently opened a new one and it has let me use the card again.

It is the same question that had been confusing me.

Because, paypal allows 2 paypal accounts per user. And considering that an average person wont have more than 1 bank account, it is not a possibility that paypal FORBIDS user from having same bank account on both the accounts.

But this might lead to a clear "linkage", and a limitation of one account will lead to limitaion on the other account.

OR, on adding your bank account to both, they might ask you to submit some document to show that you are the rightful owner of both the accounts.

    Hope this helped.

Well, generally people would only have 1 paypal account although 2 accounts are allowed. The thing is that you have more buyers than sellers.

Yes. I understand it. And I can also see it in paypal's terms. But I guess its a bit stupid to have different financial information, when a single person is eligible for 2 accounts! This creates no proper base for them to link accounts, for which financial information is far effective than just name and address.

Oh well, its their terms, and we have no option but to abide by it.

No, not really. I believe the reasoning is that if a person has 1 paypal account, he would linked it to his own personal bank account so that he can fund his paypal account with it if ACH is supported. Otherwise, you would only add a bank account if you are using a Premier account as that allows you to receive funds.

However, if you have more than 1 account, ie a Personal and a Premier account then the thing is that you would most likely just link the bank account to the premier account as it is the account in which you can receive payments and thus withdraw into it. A Personal account as you know is not supposed to be used to receive payments but is more a spending account and thus that does not necessary require a bank account unless the e-check options is open to you. So most likely the personal account would just be attached to a credit card.

If you come from a country which does not have the e-check option there is really no reason to add a bank account to your personal account.

Then for those who have a personal and business paypal accounts, by right you are supposed to separate your company records and finances from your personal ones and thus would have separate bank accounts for your personal and your business.

    Wonderful reasoning :D

    Rep given ;)

PS. Personal accounts can withdraw as well, and it is not limited to be used as a spending account.
