Do you guys know any cool tips that increased your profits with adsense?

Where do you place your ads? In your content, on top or on the sides?

What color to you take? A color that fits your content or the default colors from adsense?

What type of ads performes best? Video ads, ref, text, graphics or search?

I Place ads on the sides. Works best in between the body.
I use colors that match the colors of my blog.
Text ads generally perform the best. You can use video ads if you get high-traffic but poor CTR.

depends on your site layout. lot of bloggers put one on the top and one on the sidebar. if you have a content based html site, then you might find good result belnding in your ad within part of the content,

What color to you take? A color that fits your content or the default colors from adsense?
you match the color of your site text and layout for maximum CTR

What type of ads performes best? Video ads, ref, text, graphics or search?
thats again depends on the site content and visitors. but for most, text ads perform best

I put ads on top of content. Works best for me :)

    Colors depends on your site.

For me, text ads perform the best.

Best advice you can get is to not rely solely on Adsense.

I can't even imagine how much money I lost out on my diversifying.

I think use the default colour for ads as it stands out.

I think the best is to use same color of your links in your website for adsense color.

Ads should be placed on the top most level; of course with a little bit content over it. The visitors do not have the patience to go down deep to view / click your ads.
The ad should perfectly blend with the contents; i.e. it should not stand out.
The ad formats considered more fruitful are medium and large rectangles :)

You must try all sort of positions and colors, mostly in contrast with your background, not the same!
