$150 Logo Competition for Adventure Travel Company

Hey there!
Thrillseeker! is a new concept in adventure travel. It's provides SERIOUS high adventure and high adrenalin activities for adventurous people and companies all around the world, from heli-skiiing to scuba diving, to heli-mountainbiking, to white water kayaking, to big wave surfing to sky-diving, to bungee jumping, to whatever adrenalin based activity you can think of.

We want to create a logo for our company and if you think you can come up with the good then here is your chance!

There are a few companies out there that do similar things and here are some websites that will give you some inspiration and an idea about what we want to be like.

1. http://www.adventure-junkies.com/ the owners are the tour guides, great trip this is where i see ourselves starting initially.

2. http://www.adrenalin.com.au/ this company as we know it to be, leads the way in providing adventure activities and generates most of its revenue from corporate clients.

The key messages we want to have in our logo is obviously ADVENTURE and ACTION but it has to be professional and trusted to cater for corporate clients as well.

Colours are open at this stage, but we want a fresh, energetic look.

The competition will end when the winner is announced. Payment shall be via Paypal.

Hello all,
For your information when designing the logo. The Thrillseeker logo will be used not only for a website, but also for printed material on papaer and brochures, etc. and we also plan to use it for T-shirts, hats, water bottles, armbands, etc. So keep that in mind please.

To reply to saddiq's question: the logo needs to have the work THRILLSEEKER in it. other than that it is up to you. you can put some graphic or image in it like fire, lightning bolt, globe, whatever, as long as that feeling of adventure, action and energy comes into it. we don't want something too busy as it needs to be professional and elegant for our corporate clients as well.

Thanks for the work so far.
I think the logo is OK.
I like the dirty font. Don't need an exclamation mark in the logo.
The mountain range looks good, though it will make people think about mountainclimbing, trekking etc, which a lot of companies provide and we don't want to make it seem like that is all we do. maybe another symbol would be better.
I like the freshness of the logo too. definitely of the quality to be used for corporate stuff.

Ok, I will get rid of the exclamation mark.
And I will change the mountain ranges to something more fitting.
I thought that the mountains fitted with this kinda thing until you just said you don't do this for people

Hi all,
Just a general comment on the graphic. It has to be something that invokes the feeling of action and adventure but without limiting people's thinking too much in regards to the type of activities that we do. we will be doing dozens of different activities and we don't want people to think that we are focusing on only one or two different activities.

Don't forget to watermark your entries

 

I don't like the blue and green and the font is too "rounded". go for a stronger more powerful font.
also try to do a bit more with the symbol.
not a bad start.

I like the concept of the human symbol and the circle behind it (which again could be a globe if you did a bit of work on it). I don't like the font or the colour combos though (don't like the green at all and don't think the red goes well with that blue).

I like the concept of the eye and the globe, but I think the look of the logo is too soft. I need a stronger, tougher, more adventurous look.
Also, you don't have to use the real colours of the globe. We don't really like the blue and green combination. a monotone colour for the globe would be better.

I like the concept of the roadsign, but I think it's too busy for a logo. maybe an idea for a T-shirt.
it's too "busy" to use as our logo with all the writing and symbols in it. plus the symbols kind of narrow the potential client's mind into thinking we focus on one sport or another.
the idea of the word being split into two parts isn't bad.
I don't like the very bright yellow.

Think about it guys and let me know how you go.
Take your time and come up with something really good. The price tag on this is a bit high because we expect a bit of creative talent and some work to be put into this. We're estimating this comp will go for about a week or so.
