I absolutely Agree... IE8 is not as good as Firefox 2... And is absolutely junk as compared to Firefox 3 Beta 4...
It's just a beta version. Maybe IE9 would be more fitting. As improvements users want to see larger toolbar back and more CSS compliance I believe.
IE 8 is beta right now so it acts like a.. beta software. Wait until final version. It's a developer release, not for click-click browsing right now. It means that it has been released for those who wanna test the new features, not for usual browsing
I always use FF (fast, reliable, easy to use, stronger against virus, free ). Just when i need to test a website or script i open IE (Even the Opera browser is better than IE).-
You know what? You all are missing out by not trying k-meleon. I mean, it's the lightest and fastest ever, and so far I test all my web pages with it because... it follows the W3C to the letter. It also never crashes on me, something that IE and FF both do. It's also a free sourceforge project... http://kmeleon.sourceforge.net
K-Meleon uses Gecko for its rendering engine which is also the rendering engine for ......... Firefox!
Firefox for me, I spent long enough convincing peoeple to download firefox with google toolbar that I went for it myself lol
Just because it's popular, it's not the only criteria that throws FF in 1st position. And doesn't mean that is better.
