$75 Logo Contest

I need a logo designed for a site I'm bringing online. The web address is http://techtips.tv

I'm open to just about anything for design. For colors, I have been thinking about a chocolate brown and a rich purple as part of the design, but am open to just about any colors except a blue/orange combo scheme, or any shade of green.

The logo should be created in vector format and delivered as either an illustrator file or vector-based .psd.

Thanks for the quick logo! I like the colors a lot. I'm not using www in the URL. I'm not inlove with the font at all. Something whimsical is great, but it should still look professional.

I'm not sure why, but the second one didn't show up in your post. It is here in the reply. I like the look of the abstract design with the door knocker. The text looks a bit jagged, but I understand that can be due to the matte.

It looks nice, but it's not drawing me. Definately lose the green as I am not interested in any shade of green. I would prefer to see it with no background at all. Perhaps proper case or lower case the text, and something different than a piece of paper to go with TV?

Because i made them befre and save as psd!

 

I'll work on the suggestions. The background is just there so everything is nicely accented, and all shadows, and such, are viewable.
