Why doesn't Google celebrate Easter?

I'm sure this has been discussed before, but why doesn't google celebrate Easter? It celebrates a lot of other random, almost unheard of holidays.

The special Google logos started out as a project of an individual Googler who created them on his 20% personal projects time. They still seem to be done that way, so part of the reason is likely to be simply that nobody at the company happened to make one for Easter this year. And then there's the problem of repeating themselves to the point where its no longer special, so I'm sure that's one reason why they don't do a special logo for each holiday every year.

Easter is meant to be a religous period, most important period in the Christian calender. As for Christmas most cultures have adopted it as a holiday.

They even did for Christmas and other holidays, beats me as to why no Easter. I thought during holidays like Christmas it is more likely that no one is around than during Easter.

Maybe it's their way giving the Easter bunny a 30 SERP penalty for spamming Easter?

Google probably does not have a logo for easter, but since google acknowledges Christmas it would make sense that they would acknowledge Easter as well.

I did not realize they did not. Weird. But anyway - it matters little to me.

Very strange.. I believe they added an Easter logo last year though. Can't think of any reason why they'd skip this and celebrate holidays 99% of the population doesn't know of. I hope they don't forget their April Fools prank this year :(

the google doodles are mainly done by a google artist but they are also done by various schools and organizations.
Thats why on some days when there might not be a well known holiday there is still a doodle. A school can submit it and if the google engineers think its a worthy logo they will put it up.

    Hope that clears things up
