Alright I'm interested in meditating. It sounds nice, and I've heard lots of good things about it. If you do meditate, could you give me a few starting tips? or maybe ebook guides? Thanks!
I dont meditate but I act like though I meditate as in I always think postively and with peace in inner mind. I dont get angry and dont do anything bad to people, etc...
I tried 3 years ago.Continued for 4 weeks then gave up.It is hard to find a calm place to meditate. There are too many noises all around. You know a calm environment is needed for meditation.
Just search the internet for meditation and you'll find many free resources on it. You really don't need a calm place to meditate. If you're skilled enough you can adapt to be able to meditate even in noisy crowded situations. Try this simple "The No-Thought meditation". Just sit down on the ground, close your eyes and try to think of nothing. Absolutely nothing. No thoughts, just blank your mind.
i 've been doing it for a few month and i can already tell the different. The level of awareness and focus is awesome. it is really easy, no special technique or anything. Easiest way is to find a quiet place, sit down, focus to your breath and start counting here is the book that get me start, it is a small book that is nice and easy http://www.amazon.com/Minute-Meditation-Quiet-Mind-Change/dp/0399529950
I do meditate, although not on a regular basis. Meditation and Yoga are a must for the webmasters especially who stare at the monitors for 10 - 12 hrs a day continually. With least physical movement, the body develops all sorts of problems. If you do regular exercise like aerobics, then it is not required. Otherwise do meditation and yoga for 30 minutes daily and keep the doctor away. Be physically fit so that you will be mentally strong enough to take on the webmaster activity -Dairyman
I don't go crazy with it. Before bed, if I can't sleep I often focus on things, mainly my breathing. Meditation is focusing on doing, not thinking. You can even meditate throughout the entire day, as long as your focused.
I think I'm more of a yoga guy and while I have never done it I do realize the importance of stretching
on anything that has to do with your senses, touch, hearing, scent etc... When your not thinking... only doing. Try to not think about what your doing right now. That is meditation
I am not a meditation pro. But will do at least thrice a week especially during I am too tense in my job.
