Here is another prime example of a site that FireFox screws up. BTW the site belongs to me. www.nortonrelease.com. It removes the CSS from the site and sends the calender to the right so you have to do a vertical scroll to view the calender posts.
Writing valid code is a step in the right direction. You can't expect any browser to guess what you are trying to do. Validate both your html and css for those lists of errors. id names are to be unique to one element on a page. You use them more than once. You also have a typo in your CSS attribute. Fix your errors, then see where we stand. Firefox is displaying what you wrote.
umm... I know so many people who don't know what a browser is that use firefox. Firefox is far more advertised than IE. [/offtopic] and I havent used FF3 or IE8 so i cant decide yet.
Firefox FTW! Lol.. I just don't really like IE. Don't know why, probably its lack of the smooth feeling firefox brings.
FF brings in many new features tat IE lacks also FF is much more advanced n safer to use as compared to any other browser... Waiting for the release of the full version am not into using beta versions..
so far so good in that realm, it's WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY better than FF2 I can vouch for that. 62 tabs & only 317mb....plus it goes way back down once I close the tabs, something I never saw FF2 do most of the time
what jackass...he such a ja...NM the only thing I hate about using beta...the add-ons do not work no way, FFFTW :-p
I am looking at the page in IE and it is correct. Secondly its not my template. The template was made by someone else (probably a DP member). And seriously guys tell me out of all the websites you visit how many of their HTML and CSS is validated. Even the ones that claim to be, I check and its not.
Luckily lots of big companies have filed complains about the fact that windows comes with the standard microsoft software so hopefully they'll not only include IE with windows but also FF. Edit: I'll definitely go for FF, IE has too many flaws IMO *cough*
