Hi There is a market for low cost articles. This may be of interest to you. We have setup a site to sell original articles. You can upload your articles for sale and we will sell them. This is a free service to you. All articles must be minimum of 400 words All articles must be unique and will be copyscape checked You can write about any subject as long as you dont leech content from others places such as Wikipedia Article will be sold only once for $6 - You will receive $4. After our Paypal commissions we receive a very small profit which we will use to promote and advertise the site. Payments made weekly every Friday via Paypal Simply register and start uploading your articles. If you think we need other categories please let me know. We are going to market this heavily so it would be good to get on board now. I know the payment is low as is our profit but we hope to be very big in a short time and sell many articles. Good luck John See signature
How do you classify it has unique content since you already have published it in your site and what do you do for those who copy those articles displayed from site without your knowing and without even paying and it is going to be those who brought the articles and those who copied. How do you protect the buyers from such instances! There are lot of questions need to be asked before joining! This is not to discourage anyone but questions that came to my mind as soon as i saw your idea and your site!
Will probably be interested in this service once the community and article base evolves. The only problem I seam to have ATM is the fact that the articles are "indexable". Articles are completely listed in HTML pages, no meta stop robots from indexing the page. And they are full text. How can we expect them to be unique if even Google will index them and probably apply penalties to buyers for duplicate content? A solution would be to list the articles a rendered PDFs or GIFs/JPGs. Good luck with this website and with building a writers base! @forumguy, I was thinking that at the same moment. Indeed, these are huge problems!
Guys you miss the point. Most other sites that sell articles do show the complete article. The buyer needs to see it. The buyer also receives a unique code to prove ownership. After all if anyone places articles on their own site it can be copied. We just rely on the majority that do things legally. The pricing is very competitive which will probably reflect the type of article. The buyer then has the choice. Can we please not turn this thread into a Q n A discussion. If anyone is interested then please join as a writer Regards JohnT
This is sort of interesting, but other people have already pointed out many of the problems I see in this system. Also, would you consider allowing longer articles? As I tend to like to elaborate more than 400 words.
Hi Yes we will be doing different article lengths but to start we have deliberately kept it to 400 words to evaluate things. I dont see the problems you refer to - Anyones content can be copied from almost anywhere? If the buyer receives his unique code then that is legally saying it is their property. In fact it very much re-inforces that fact as you could not prove otherwise even if you wrote it yourself. Guys just give it a chance and lets see how it pans out - could be beneficial to all Regards JohnT
Joined as blm2007--let's see how it works,--but--There is no payout section in the site... then who is going to pay me if my articles are approved or gets sold?
In the original thread.......... Payments made weekly every Friday via Paypal - You will be aked your paypal ID within 24 hrs John
Had a lot of questions about payments. You will be automatically paid every Friday via Paypal. I'm afraid we cannot accept other methods of payment. Thanks john
I am sorry John, but if they are posted on your site, they will no be unique to anyone that buys them. I now list articles on a site, actually my site and another and only supply extracts. You never put the entire article up or it will not be unique to google. I did my research before posting this and it is not possible to make articles unique unless you post extracts only. Complete articles will be penalized by google.
'Complete articles will be penalized by google' What on earth are you talking about? Once they are sold they are removed from the site. Anyway please stop all this stuff - I have had over 30 writers sign up and in one day sold 5 articles. I state again we are at the bottom end of the market and offer a niche service. We are not selling articles at a price that will break the bank. Hopefully uniqueseoarticles will give writers and buyers an affordable chance to touch the market. Please Blondie do not tell me about SEO. I have been in this game for over 5 years now and my other company services most of the webs largest portals. Please don't presume you are talking to someone who is ignorant about how the search engines work. We study on a weekly level google's algorith changes. Can I say again if you are not interested in the service then please don't make your comments. I would be pleased to discuss this by PM. Regards JohnT
Well, I checked through your site and feel that you will be doing your best to protect all concerned. I have opened an account and will begin submitting soon. Thanks for the opportunity BTW: For those worried about the articles being indexed before being bought; well that is what "no follow" tags are for and I am sure Wordsmith is intelligent enough to do that!
Hi everyone We are open to all suggestions that will sell your articles. If you guys only want part of your article showing then we can do that. I don't particularly think that this will tempt the client to purchase. We are starting small and will adjust as we grow. As far as Google is concerned - I have not submitted the site for indexing as I know this type of site will thrive on referrals. I have not even placed ads on the site! My only mission is to give the writer an outlest at the lower end of the market as well as the small site owner the opportunity to purchase cost effective articles. Regards JohnT
