Just did yesterday after seeing a similar thread. I just as many others took a general look over the new TOS but did not read it entirely...

this sucks... users don't really need to know that, most of them don't even know a thing about cookies

I realised that XSitepro will auto-generate a privacy statement page for you.

It do mention about cookies and even explain what is a cookie.

That disclaimer should be enough right?

That should be fine. Yeah, there are many sites that will generate a privacy statement free of charge.

That's just a pain in teh @ss. I'm sure a great majority of the sites will be policy-free even after a year from now. I have heard it's enough if the link is put only on the homepage and not site-wide, can anyone confirm it? I still am neglecting it, it's just too much junk work

Hey, if it's fine with you, it's fine with me. But if you get banned from Google Ad Sense, I don't want to see you posting a thread crying about it saying it's unfair or that you didn't know. You've gotten fair warning.

Lol, that's classic. If you get banned........... That's the most common thing in the Adsense section of those who think something "must" or "must not" be done. If you get banned don't come here crying/whining  Since there is no Adsense employee here, we can only discuss things, and not dictate our understanding onto others.

    Besides, i didn't say i won't, i just think it's a pain, and i still think so. ;)

It's just that Ad Sense can be likened to a job... actual work and people think they can just put it off. I've never felt comfortable putting something off at work.
Anyway, I think the deadline is the end of March.

Good thing because I think the deadline has passed. If Google finds sites with Ad Sense from now on without the disclaimer, they will be giving out bans.

Nah I got a note from adsense support today about a couple of TOS violating sites; they never even mentioned the "disclaimer" even though none of my 50+ sites have it.

Wow, if I received an email like that though, I would fix it before I get banned.
