What is this "my 2 cents"?

    The term originates from the Greek mythos that you put pennies on a dead man's eyes as ferry fee to Charon to take them across the River Acheron into Hades*

    Since everyone "worthwhile" is worth at least the pennies on their eyes, it means one's personal opinion!

    It's from when they used to put two coins over a dead persons eyes, to pay the ferry man in the afterlife.
    But now for some reason it means someones short opinion on a subject...:/

    Remember when you use wikipidea that it is just someone just like you who has written the article. Sometimes, the articles are not accurate.
