I am aiming for 100 unique visitors per day by the end of this year. How profitable would my site be? I am constantly posting at do follow blogs and gaining quality links. I also aim to have 50 articles by the end of the year. Thanks.
100 unique visitors daily is too low if you are aiming for even just $1 per day...must do well in promotion..
Don't expect pet sites will get you a lot of dollars. They are not high paying except for a few key words. Go for high paying niches like insurance, legal services, finance, stock market, tech gadgets etc...
Yes. I do agree that pet sites do not earn much for adsense. Finance related sites are better. Anyway, wish you all the best for your pet site.
I have a wildlife section...300+ page impressions per day, $0.70 per day Not my best section! Hopefully pets will do better for you than wildlife. Can't say what CPC is...but its a lot less than 0.50
sorry, it's not for sale! anyway its a section in a much larger site, not a site on its own - the site is for a travel destination, the section is about the wildlife in the region. I wonder how much 'wildlife insurance' might pay...
I will eventually, 100 per day is my aim for the first year. I am very busy this year and wont have the time to put into the site however next year I will.
If it is the site in your sig you could probably kill it with traffic, but you would need a lot more than 50 articles. I read the following on your site and almost fell off my chair. "Firstly, this site is not to make money. I have no pop-ups or advertisements and have no intention of changing this decision of mine." Dude, you're soooo funny.
100 uniques a day won't make enough money to buy a postage stamp. Shoot for higher, much higher, goals if you want to make money with Adsense.
Yes, but EVERYBODY and their UNCLE tries the finance site thing. The net is completely over saturated with MFA finance websites. If someone has a genuine interest in pets, then they would do much better with a pet site. Especially if they narrow it down to a specific pet, breed, etc. It can be next to impossible to get traffic on a new finance website.
