LOL you married a greedy person. It doesn't mean all women are like that. I've had male room mates who were just as superficial. Sounds like you need to re-evaluate your relationship and tell her what you want. And don't blame her if you act like its no problem. You can't expect her to be some psychic if you are passive-aggressive If you think they MUST need money to make them happy, then you are the one who is too money-hungry, not them. Why not step outside of the sports bar/night club/television screen and see that there a lot of women in this world with real concerns, just like men. Personally I think money makes life hell. No money would equal ultimate happiness to me. I don't buy anything, and I don't ask others to buy things for me. Saying that you can't be with a woman if you can't provide for her is the age-old stereotype that is creating such a disgusting, wasteful capitalist society that we have today.

What women want? 1. You respect them all the time. 2. You are always worng they are always right - So you gotta agree with whatever they say. 3. Money 4. Yeah because women want nothing more than a guy with no opinions of his own, one who just humors them all the time. I think they call those guys "push overs," and as far as I've heard, thats a pretty big turn-off. Most of the things on there have something to do with money. So women like passive-aggressive, spineless guys with loads of cash. Riiiiight. And number four is bullshit. I see plenty of women webmasters and bloggers every day, including a decent amount of women who post on this forum.

From experience talking to my mother and girlfriend, I think that women never like to be corrected. Therefore, always having the false belief that they are right.
It is not money or sex.....The only reason women speak is to be understood, and the only reason men speak is to create a action....plain and simple.
