I just lost 4 GB of data

I want to delete a file but I accidentally selected a folder which contains 11 GB of data, followed by shift+delete and enter.

After recovery process, only about 7 GB of data gained.

    I swear, I wouldn't use shift+delete anymore.

if u have Tuneup Utilities, it mite be helpful to gain the other 4GB of files, I never use shift+delete. I always delete, and empty recycling BIN, after checking its contents

Ya, I use Tuneup Utilities 2008 to restore the data. But some files are useless after the restoration.
Sometime the files restored but not in good condition.

The best software for recovery is O&O Disk Recovery.

It is absolutly amazing. It will analize your entire drive and recover about 99% of data! No kidding!!!

I highly reccomend you that one :)

Man, sorry to hear about that. I have that happen to me before so now I always use the mouse when deleting something, just to be sure.
