    I don't recall seeing that in the Adsense TOS, I don't think it is illegal.

    A blogger is a dictionary word, is it a trademark? It simply means someone who writes a blog, seriously doubt you can trademark a dictionary word.

    Google owns a lot of blogs and so do many other users. Ownership of a blog does not convey ownership of the word blog or blogger or anything in that order.

    Exactly :)

    Just like the word "Gamer" . If it becomes a trademark at some stage then do not think people will stop using it in their domain names.It is a very generalized term like blogger.

    What you have to say about the word "Writer" :rolleyes:

    Either way.
    Blogspot=Blogger=Google
    They own blogspot, they own the blog, they own the trademark.

    Apple itself has quite the history of suing people with apple in the domain name actually.
    Apple sues Itunes.co.uk owner
    From Apple's own Copyright/Trademark Guidelines
    "9. Domain Names: You may not use an identical or virtually identical Apple trademark as a second level domain name."
    I'm not saying they're right, I'm saying most people don't have the money to defend themselves.

    Isn't Apple a registered tradamark of Apple Corp and not Apple Inc. And isn't Apple Inc in violation of Apple Corp's trademark?

    using patented name or trademark in while registering a domain is not legal, but for subdomains its OK.

    Oprah has a surprising amount of control over the letter "O" actually.
    Eventually, I plan on holding the copyright to the letter A. Yall just wait.
