why is Google the best search engine?

ive been using ask.com for quite some time now and i really dont see how Google is any better. why is Google the top search engine?

 

Google is not the top search engine according to Alexa (...lets not start that debate!). Yahoo is ranked #1 in terms of visitors, while Google is #4.

 

I'm not so sure it's the top search engine, but it's probably the best known.

 

Because its a no nonesense search engine with a plain page. No news flashing infront of you.

Plus any new install of firefox now has the homepage as a google search thing on mozilla.

 

the speed, the reliability and accuracy of the search..the technology

 

the idea of a "best" anything is just an opinion - google is one of the top but people will argue about being THE top.

 

For me, its simple design, and its super fast. It has never failed to come up for me in under 2 seconds, if your logged in, your search results eventually get better and better once google learns what types of sites you visit.

 

Google has a brand name. In terms of results, Yahoo! works best for me - but Google's brand keeps people coming back to their service.

Google give relevant result most of the time compare to the other SE's I have tried.

 

Because it pays adsense well.

 

Google shows the most relevant results that's why it's the best knows search engine.

 

For me personally, it's the simplicity and speed. All I want is search, I don't need a fancy layout, news headlines, and graphics. I also like seeing the art in the Google logo for various occasions, lol. >_>

 

It has good results compared to yahoo and msn

 

For me its accuracy of results, and a sensible, no nonsense approach to searching.

 

Its interface is very simple, relevat, easy to use and the most important, it is focused only to search, comparing to other search engine like Yahoo!, that show on the same page other thinks and informations

Yahoo Not Too Bad,i Hope Yahoo Can Be Top!

 

Everyone has its own choice, for me, Google is the best. Its simple, and it give me best results.

• It's fast loading.
• It has high quality results for a search term.
