Unfortunately I am inclined to agree with you. I sent them over 10,000 qualified visitors and now, after months and a long list of excuses they are refusing to pay.

It is too early to call ThousandDollarProject a SCAM. I am in the final stages of negotiating with Chris, the program owner for payment. If he does not pay I assure you that I will post a FULL REVIEW of my experience with the Thousand Dollar Project.

This website is actually fully legit. Because of the many scammers that make the world stop daily he shut down his affiliate program. If you go to www.120000ayear.com/money it is his new program. Fully legit.

    UPDATE:

It seems the ability to scam and deceive knows no bounds when it comes to ThousandDollarProject. Yesterday, after many emails, Chris the owner of Thousand Dollar Project sent me $100 of the $502.39 that he owes. After he refused to pay the rest I told him that I would post negative reviews of his program to help other webmasters avoid being defrauded.

Here are the screen shots from his paypal dispute:

So not only will ThousandDollarProject scam you out of traffic and money, but they will try to steal back what they already paid.

Please keep us updated on this - if you don't receive all the money due, I'll raise the alert flag too. We could always make this thread rank higher in Google than his own site? hahaha. Sometimes, revenge can be fun:D

    ---- Edit ----

Look at his primary contact number - using a mobile phone number. Flag this with Paypal and they'll decide in your favour almost instantly. Call them up right now.

Thanks for the advise, but it is pretty clear that intangible items are not eligible for refund AND it CLEARLY states that accounts without a shipping address cannot claim a refund.

The bottom line is that this guy is a scammer of the first order and I agree... we need to post as many links to this thread as we can. I will be doing this today!

    UPDATE:

PayPal closed the dispute and ruled in my favor!!!

It seems that since ThousandDollarProject did not have an address and are using a mobile number that PayPal trusts my word. PayPal is also looking into the fact that Thousand Dollar Project may have circumvented their TOS in other ways.

Apparently Chris got pretty upset about PayPal taking my side. He is so upset that he posted a scathing rant about me. In this he calls me a serial scammer and implies that I scammed him.

Let me see if I have this right....

    • I sent over 10,000 visitors to his site.
    • The traffic was great until it was time to pay.
    • He refused to settle his debt.
    • He tried to file a bogus claim with PayPal.
    • Numerous other webmasters can't get paid by thousanddollarproject.

Hmmmm... so this makes me the bad guy? If sending traffic to a program in good faith and over more than 2 months while listening to lies and excuses about payment makes me a scammer then I guess the rest of you are scammers as well.

Looks like we have a cheerleader.

Can you explain why there are others in this thread besides me that did not get paid?

Can you explain why ThousandDollarProject gladly accepted traffic right up to the point it was time to pay?

    THE TRUTH IS:

Thousand Dollar Project took traffic from webmasters and refused to pay - PERIOD! That is shitty business no matter where you are or what you TOS say.

Honest programs DO NOT take traffic for over 2 months and then cry wolf when it is time to pay.

You failed to answer the questions... or you ignored them.

I will post them again since you obviously missed them:

Can you explain why there are others in this thread besides me that did not get paid?

Can you explain why ThousandDollarProject gladly accepted traffic right up to the point it was time to pay?

    Now to answer your questions...

I have run across 3 absolute scams in the past 10 years of doing business online:

    1. PayDayLoanToday
    2. Adengage
    3. ThousandDollarProject

Not bad considering I have well over 1 million pages indexed.

And your name is Ankur Lekhi from Delhi. Pleased to meet you.

    Did you miss that one?

Best of luck with your Karma.
