Oh oh! It looks like the coffeeshop giant is losing to Caribou Coffee and Dunn Brothers. Maybe people are sick of paying $4 for a cup of Steamed Mocha Late with an Espresso shot. Does their coffee suck? I'm not picky. I think most coffee tastes bad (smells good though, strange). They seemed to be everywhere. Maybe they grew too fast. I love going into a starbucks coffee shop to smell their coffee rather than drink it There's just too much competition going on right now so that's why they are loosing their customers.
The funny thing is, where I live Dunkin Donut and Krispy Creme left. People just don't eat donuts around here (a recent survey showed we are the least donut-eating state). We also have a lot of other coffee competition, but Starbucks seems to be doing well around here.
I go to starbucks atleast once per day. Do not have many other options if i want a good cup of coffee.
there are starbucks every 4-5 block in where i live, but dunkin donut is catching up how much does a cup of normal coffee cost? like 30 RMB?
Do they also have a tip jar for the employees, like in the USA? It's an odd thing to me, for a coffee shop.
It's expensive here at the Starbucks in Central London... money robbers... I just prefer to goto Tesco and get their own coffee stuff.
Starbucks is a fad... Nothing spectacular about the coffee, its ok. Its like anything else, premium stuff with a premium price. I love their coffee you can buy at the grocery store though. It's cheaper to buy it that way and make it yourself.
Starbucks is overrated. I have had a cup of coffee from starbucks and a cup of coffee from a gas station and they both taste the same. And a helluva lot cheaper at the gas station. If I go to a coffee shop, I go to my local independent ones. I would rather give my money to them than some ripoff franchise like Starbucks.
