If the two sites sitepoint and digitalpoint, which one do you think is overall better and gets more traffic?

DP generates more traffic imo and
DP is more popular among the webmasters than the sitepoint :)

I think SitePoint has some richer members, if I were selling a site for big bucks, I'd definitely post there before DP. I do however conduct most my business here at DP, well because the traffic is way more and it's free to make posts in the marketplace. They both have advantages and disadvantages, and personally, I love to use them both.

I like the layout of DP. Sitepoint is quite confusing.

I think DP is better. Sitepoint confused me, and it's a little easier to get help on DP.

SitePoint I think has more traffic as a whole website but DP forums definitely own their forums.

yes I was about to say that too on selling websites
buyers have sitepoints have higher potential and more interest and for some reason are willing to spend great $ to buy so if you have larger site, you will get what you want for or even more $ for it.

If you have any web related programming questions, Sitepoint is the place to go. You get very thorough answers in a short time. People who are selling high priced domains/sites use Sitepoint as well, you can browse the DP Sites for Sale marketplace and then the Sitepoint Marketplace to see how large the difference is.

For most other things, DP does quite as well if not better.

most are jsut saying you have better chance of having someone paying you $xxxx for a site at sitepoint than here at DP
(provided your site does worth that much)

Probably here you get a better quality of buyers though. That is why the prices may be lower. ? More knowledgeable buyers perhaps.

we're not saying prices are lower

say you have a site making $600/m, got proofs and every details and want to sell for 6 months revenue or even 12 months

here, most people will think it is alot and will pay max $1200

however at sitepoint people will indeed pay you 600*6 = $3600 or even *12

Sitepoint is really confusing, hard to find things the way the site is designed. The forum is weird. Has annoying advertisements too. :/
