USA Domain Names By State

    I have a bet going in work….. That you can buy USA domain names by state…. could anybody tell me if this is right or wrong?

    I don't understand. Can you clarify?

    tx.us, az.us, ca.us etc... are used by state government websites.

    You can NOT buy domains link to Government places,state names, counties , trademarks and Agencies.

    So there is no point to buy FBI etc unless U want to be spending time in the joint. ;)

    because any way i think about you cant be right? you cant buy subdomains of state abbrs. is <sub>.<state>.us. all states names.us are also taken and same applies. and any other crazy scenario you can come up with... just flat out no.
