I also agree with acash's that games these days are to easy and they are to short. i mean back in the day they was HARD!!! My son is 8 and he clocks some games in under a DAY!!!!! Thinking about it i think he is a hardcore gamer,I mean i was stuck on this bit in gears of war for ages!!! He said i can do it dad and one go he did it!!!!!
I agree that there are some short games these days, but there are also some pretty long ones, still, longer then any NES game I ever played. Mostly RPG's, really, Persona 3 for the PS2 I clocked in over 100 hours.
Well sure, it let you save, I was just using that as an example about game length. I mean, some NES games let you save as well, such as The Legend of Zelda, which I think was a launch game, so saves existed back then. A lot of them didn't, and I think that was the hard part mostly. Beat Battletoads on the NES and your like a god of video games. Check out this list: http://uk.pc.ign.com/articles/774/774907p1.html
Any of the boss's in the new Beowulf The Video Game, it has the hardest beginning to a game I have ever seen!
