    Hi there,

I want to know that why the indexed pages in Google fluctuates very often i.e. today if there are 100 pages in the Google's index then tomorrow it will be 90 and day after tomorrow it will be 113.

How to maintain the number and the positions of the indexed pages?

    Regards

Google uses different 'datacenters'. Your search will go to a different datacenter, where results will vary (very slightly though). There is no way around this.

I think it has got something to do with the constant pr update by Google. I've also noticed my rank for the 'Blogging Tips'. Yesterday I was at page 2, not I'm at page 4.

This is due to the different datacenters.

Google does update PR constantly, but I'm pretty sure that they do a full update only every several months.

No matter what, almost every time you search, it will come from different datacenters and the results will vary slightly.
