    Hi,

I run a site called Adhysteria.com for free video classifieds.
Does anyone have any success with adsense and classifieds website.

Also would adding a community feel (web2.0) help in increasing traffic.

    Regards
    Rajiv

    Hi,

Actually not much traffic thinking of a redesign to a more web2.0 feel also keeping the rightsyscraper and bottom ad constant removing the rest.
Right now only around 3-400 impressions a day.

As a general guideline, I suspect pages with too many links offered to viewers won't get as many clicks as pages with lesser clutter. And with that said, where do you think classifieds stand between those 2 extremes?

With those impressions you should get at $ 1 per day. This is what i got in 2007 when i tried for 6 months and had around 300 impressions per day. Now, i 'm trying my luck again with better software, design and ... knowledge ...

Right! But then again, people that visit classified ads sites search for something. Meaning the look around. If they don't find it in there, why not cliking in the "other" ads website advertized ?

I run a classified site as well, very little profit from Adsense, looking at redeploying the domain name as something else actually, or maybe just selling the entire site.
