By all means avoid hosting with these guys.
It all started when I tested their "30-Day Money-Back Guarantee"
Two days later, I asked for a refund, unhappy with their services.
I get a "wait 3 days for your refund, we have deleted your hosting account with us" E-mail.
I waited 5 days, thinking it was a mistake, only to find out "They forgot to send it to billing"
I was told to wait 3 more days, I waited another 5, and called them up and they said "I escalated your account, you should receive an email in two days". - By this point, I'm more then angry with them, but accepted the extra two day wait anyway. I waited three days, and contacted them via Live Chat, for the to tell me to wait 3 days for another E-mail. - At this point, I'm rather pissed. So I'm sitting here three days after I was suppose to receive that last email, feeling like a total tool.

I'm out 70$ and I'm attempting to report this to Paypal to get my funds back.

So please guys, don't let this happen to you, and avoid them!

btw, I have chat logs of the live chat, and an email confirming they deleted my account, and proof of purchase. I'm thinking of taking legal action.

Ps: I couldn't find a forum relevent to this issue at hand, if it's in the wrong section, I'm sorry.

Just a suggestion, don't escalate it to a PP dispute until it's 100% needed, as PayPal won't give you your money back. Virtual goods aren't supported :(

I haven't used Powweb personally but I know clients who I have moved sites from there. Powweb servers are extremely slow.

Sorry to hear about that. it's best to stick to well known hosting companies even if they are a bit expensive since you won't run into problems like this.
