I'd do both! They are both really easy to setup and you can run split A/B Testing when promoting your products You do tend to find squidoo pages alot more in the 1st pages of search results than blogger! You can also link from your blogger site to squidoo... Use all the tools available together IMO
Anyways, this doesn't mean that it is better for a marketer to use blogger for marketing goals. Squidoo is way better when being leveraged for marketing purposes. And I think that I don't need to provide any evidence for that. I have seen truck loads of squidoo pages being used as landing pages, promotional resources and so forth. Marketers prefer squidoo over blogger when they want to target a niche oriented audience.
I have a blogger blog with around 100 keywords on a popular game where it is brought into the top 3 rankings, its above most of the major websites for them now. Im slowly working on some of the more mainstream keywords to take my website off the second page.
http://www.squidoo.com/identity-theft-protection-911 was the lens in question Cryogenius. Overall, a variety of ways used can help any promotion efforts provided the information is useful (and even better if it is unique).
Thanks for letting me know - I think I've got it working now... Republish your lens, and try it again.
Forget about both as a sole way of making money with affiliate programs. You have to learn how to build a network of small sites around your core site. Your core site will be a small minisite dedicated to your affiliate product, explaining every facet of the product and then you will have small sites (like blogger blogs) and pages like (squidoo) to drive traffic to your minisite. You'll bust it out guaranteed. The thing is with small pages like squidoo you depend only on the traffic you gain from bookmarking and search engines. building a network around a small minisite will flood constant traffic to your site.
I was surprised by speed and position of just one squidoo lens in comparison with blogger, but I'm using both and link them. For 'stronger impact' it pays off to split your topic and make more squidoo lens and link them together and maybe, to use blogger just as as central promotion page, but there's no rule. (I performed tests in Aug/Sep 2007 and Feb/Mar 2008)
