Hmm there are some really good sites to look at for inspiration. Here are just a few I am currently on.

    BBC.com
Why? It has a lot of content features on the home page, but they do such a good job with making it look extremely uniform and like it all just fits so perfectly. Everything fits a common theme. They just did a really good job pulling it off.

    panic.com/coda
Why? It does a great job pulling all of the elements together and really creates one beautiful page. Very easy to navigate and understand. This is also a great tool for anyone with a mac that writes code!

    ellislab.com
Why? This is an extremely simple website, but is so easy easy on the eyes. Along with that, it is very well organized with the navigation and content.

Remember, those are just the windows I happened to have open... there are so many places you can look for inspiration! Just surf the web for an hour or so, not staying on any one web page to long unless you like the look, in which case you should bookmark it.

Starfall.com, mostly because of what it offers but the layout also is very simple and easy to navigate (it should be; it's for kids) and the content is very creative and visually pleasing.

I like the Digg's design. It's smooth and modern yet good organized and straightforward.

Ya not only does the BBC have great shows... their website really is beautifully setup and designed. Simple colors, simple layout, minimal images, and nice use of scripts.

    Risoknop:
I also like digg's design. It does a great job at organizing a lot of information in a very clean way. You almost immediately forget about the design. It really is nice to have a site that lets you focus on the content.

They don't have enough content at the time, and they never update. I spent an hour on the website and was through all of the articles they had up. Since then they have added like 3.... sort of sucks cause it's a great website!

www.thewebsqueeze.com is my favourite because I'm a co-owner :). Although, I do like the new "beta" design of BBC.co.uk.
