    Hello fellow DP members,

Not sure how many of you here are fans of UEFA Champion League cup, but the result of the quarter-final draw is now out. This is basically the outcome of the draw.

    Arsenal vs Liverpool
    AS Roma vs Manchester United
    Schalke 04 vs FC Barcelona
    Fenerbahce vs Chelsea

What do you think? The semi-finalists are played in the following fashion:

    Arsenal/Liverpool v Fenerbahce/Chelsea
    Schalke/Barcelona v AS Roma/Manchester United

My opinion about the UEFA Champion League tie is that Liverpool is likely to meet Chelsea in the first tie, followed by Barcelona against Manchester United.

Hence, my prediction for the finalists are Liverpool against Manchester United, and the latter is likely to emerge winner of this season's league.

    What's your opinion? :D

Well I am with my team Manchester United and I think it would be great matches for United since we have away match first just same as last year. Roma should keep in mind with 7-1 lost at OT.

Barcelona is a strong team but key player injuries and some bad results La league will give edge to Schalke.

I will still favour Barcelona to walk past Schalke, despite the recent injury crisis.

Yes and more good for United that they have good team and key players are fit to play matches also experinced players like Gery and Silvester is ready to comeback which boost Manchester United's confindance to take 2 title.

Manchester United have a good chance since half teams are from England.:)

The Gunners seem to have lost steam after Eduardo's injury.

A sign of fatigue from the Arsenal team; on the other hand, the Reds seem to begin showing their prowess in the CL competition.

Well you are right and they have produce only one good results which was AC Milan's win away from home. They have to play better if they want to go into next round.

Mmmmh..I'd say that we'll have these semifinals:

    Arsenal v Chelsea
    Barcelona v Manchester United

    and then Arsenal v Barcelona.

That would be a great final, IMHO

If a Fener-Barca final happens, even highly unlikely, you won't regret it.

I'll quote this post if it happens and you'll all confirm :D
