Very Basic question - Need your help

I have adsense for one site and have just put my code in a second site. The details I get in the stats (at adsense), combine both sites, so I do not know where do the clicks come from. How can I know the statistics from each one of the sites?

 

you need to create separate channels. this way the code you paste would be unique on each site and so will your stats.

 

You need to create not just the ads but different channels so that you can track your earnings.

 

Use custom channels, in which case you'll have to replace your Adsense code. Or use URL channels, in which case you won't have to replace the code. If you have multiple pages on each site that you want to track, custom channels is better.

URL channel with Customer channel are different
For example, you will understand easily.

I set up custom channels for my adulu.com(forum), Adulu directory, Adulu exchange. we can know how much money i made from each custom channel.

for example I have 4 channel and each channel earning $1, Total is $4

also those channel all are from www.adulu.com domain name.


therefore we can know URL channel = $4(from www.adulu.com domain name of channels)

THere are two types of channels you can use for tracking-- custom channels and url channels.

The easiest way, especially if you're not familiar with channels, is to set up URL channels.

Basically, all you do is enter the URLS of your pages (without the http:// and without the www). It will track each page that you add individually.
