Hey all, I'm starting up a web site where I host friendly programming competitions between other programmers and myself on a regular basis. I already have the first problem and competition up and going. If you like solving programming problems in your free time like myself, come join in on the fun. Here's my site: http://rhiever.110mb.com/ The competition is under the 'Beat My Code' section. Hope to see ya there! Randy
Just a suggestion: You will get more traffic if you have a real domain name instead of a 110mb account.
@FBTools: I'm not particularly concerned about getting tons of hits. I'm just doing this for fun and don't expect to make any money off of this at all. As such, I don't really want to put any money into it, either. I prefer to only put my time and effort into it (which is far more valuable, imo). Maybe in the future, if the site grows more popular, I'll consider buying a domain name and paying for hosting. Thanks though! @Flash Junky: Well... Flash in itself isn't really a programming language. ActionScript is a scripting language... which I suppose we could call a 'programming language' of sorts. Anyway, you never know, I may make a competition in the future with Flash/ActionScript.
I would like to solve it if i knew anything about programming... I only make programs with Makers and so i have onlye a little knowledge in html and php...
i can give him a free .info domain for that, if he prooves me that has over 100 codders already there. the domain is called http://www.scriptdatabase.info
well there only been 4 registered users on the forum, means it may take him a while to get the 100...
Hehe, thanks guys. I think my web site's got a ways to go before I get 100 coders. I'd be happy if I just got 10.
