Does anyone here buy an item from Ebay in one country and sell it for more to Ebay in a different country?

What is the best way to do this if you live in the U.S.? Can you do it without the merchandising having to go to you first?

I wrote a post on eBay arbitrage recently - check out http://biz-blogger.net/making-sense-of-ebay-arbitrage

I think what you are referring to is commonly known as 'dropshipping' - where the goods are delivered straight to your customer rather than going through you. Try searching around for info on that. Watch out, though - there are quite a few scams going around in the form of dropshipping membership sites.

Even real dropshippers can scam you. I seen one that would ship the wrong items to the wrong customers then charge you restocking fees and ship back fees, etc. Just make sure you sign up with a reputable company that members had a good experience with.

    Nice post.

Have you considered expanding upon the subject to talk about exchange rates? I think newbies could really use a 101 lesson in how to work with exchange rates to get started.

For instance, how does someone in the U.S. use exchange rates like you're doing? Do we need to buy from the U.K. or somewhere else and then ship back over here? Or is there a better way to do it?

If anyone knows of a post or an article that explains all this, feel free to share.
