Honestly, I think he may be using one of those technique where he fools people/kids into thinking they're getting free ringtones which is pretty dishonest. Kind of like those pop-ups where they ask you to take a simple survey and then tell you to claim your free ringtones when you're really signing up for a $9.99/month service without knowing it. This has actually been a serious issue and Azoogle Ads had to pay out $1 Million Dollars for it. Check out this article:

    Are you talking about me?

If so, seriously now Greg, are you bipolar? One post your my best buddy, the next post you're trying to find my sites / out me / question my ethics.

No, I don't trick anyone. It's pretty hard to do when they see $9.99 a month on the merchant page, the full TOS text on my own landing page, and must physically CLICK the box indicating they agree to the TOS.

Yes, ringtones have always been an issue with people being careless. But it's not my problem if they sign up for a service without reading the TOS that they agree to.

Oh ok. Was just waiting to see what your reaction was to that. Sometimes you can tell me things without even telling me.

Every day is the best day of the week. Some hours are better though, 2PM EST - 11PM EST are pretty good.

And how many ad groups did you say you had again? I'm thinking you said 1500. That would mean that you average about 4 clicks per ad group if you received about 6,000 clicks a day.

Yeah, it's way more then that now, across dozens of campaigns.

Some ad groups yield several thousand, smaller ones trickle in 0-50 a day. I'm in the 15,000-20,000 clicks a day area now.

Regarding the content network - in your experience is it possible to influence (reduce) your CPC for a given keyword in a given position?

I mean, does google reward you for having a good CTR? Something equivalent to a quality score?

Thanks for keeping this thread alive

Each ad group has it's own ad. Do you use the same ad in each ad group or a different ad?

Variations of the ad for testing isn't a bad idea. I guess if you figured out "the system" this testing no longer becomes necessary. "if it ain't broke don't fix it." kind of thing. Unless you're just continuously on the look out for higher ROI :)

Are you talking to me? I have the general idea of how this works but I'm not 100% confident I've figured out his ENTIRE system.

    Awesome thread...
wanted to find out more about content
i have some good keywords that should have a ton of impressions

    here are the #s
    41,000 Impressions
    94 clicks
    .22% CTR
    Bid @ .35
    Avg CPC .13

So my conversion ratio isnt bad

"CTR plays no factor in QS on the CN"

Cool, but is there any other way to reduce your CPC on the CN? Does it reduce over time as you spend more & more?

So AJ. Have you had any kind of success promoting another affiliate program besides ringtones?
