Yep, just subscribing my self as I am very interested in how this turns out. Best of luck to you Jose
Thank your for your post Jose. Motivating!! Now I make sure to write at least one article per day. I have 2 that have been published and 4 pending. So far 67 views and 5 url clicks. Great stuff. Are you using other free article submission sites or just the one? Keep on keeping on. Pat your brother on his back to.
Sure, here is the latest pic from ezinearticles stats Yesterday I've had only 30 visitors but they produced 18 hops My bro got 48 visitors with 22 hops. So with the latest technique we've been able to improve the CTR from 30% to 50%+. Basically what we were doing before was to post articles on our blogs and at the end of article write something like "Blahblah click here". But now we have put the links organically in each and every article so in some articles the link is in the first paragraph, in some on the second and so on. We put them where the call to action is the most appropriate and it's working pretty good for us. Aside from that we haven't seen any sales yet. I've changed the product I promote and have produced 50 hops in 5 days. My bro is promoting 2 products on his blog and has produced about 150 hops. So yeah, it's obvious that we have been lazy for the last few days and I believe that this is the only thing holding us from making any serious money. However we are finding new ways of generating traffic because writing 20 articles a day EACH is quite hard work.
Great job if you can keep the steam engine rolling with 20 articles a day! Still, your improved your CTR %. Great job! It seems to be a longer promotion technique so maybe it just want dry up over night. I'm waiting to get upgraded at ezinearticles so I can continue along with both you and your brother as a article writer. I try for just one good article a day until they let me write more. Post it - ping it - and the advertise it to!!
Thats too bad. Someone is working hard on some trick and explaining his journey. You should not have been here in this thread and making that comment. Hard work is all that it takes to be successful. I will also be starting in a day or two my landing pages are all set to go and I will not be documenting on DP just coz of some persons like teapoint who instead of motivating start making mockery of you. Good Luck Mate.
135 articles is an amount of writing that makes me shiver with fear and 0 sales is killer man now I know this is an ARTCILES experiment, but have you considered squidoo? I get minimal traffic (like 10 uniques a day) on 3 lens's each. Of course im not rich, but with just those lenses and thats it, I made 2 sales within the last 2 weeks. Thats just pennies to what the average CBer makes But the amount of work was so minimal compared to 135 articles that i just feel sorry sometimes anyways PROVE ME WRONG
Why not write 10-20 articles for a given product and test it for a week or two and see if it produces any sales? If it does, write some more. If it doesn't, move on to a different product. During the time you are testing the first batch of articles you could be writing articles on a couple of other products. Get a system going and then hammer the ones that are producing sales.
With that amount of articles you could have an outstanding website with a ton of content focusing on one niche that you could sell for a lot of money.
Great Job on improving the CTR!!! That matters a lot! I mean if you get 1000 views in 1 day and 5 clicks - it's pretty useless.. You say you were able to get your CTR to 50%+ ? That is Amazing!!! Alex
You can submit your articles to Associated Content. Associated Content will mail or e-mail an offer to you to publish your article. The offer will be based on whether or not you want them to have exclusive rights to your article. If you give them the exclusive rights, you cannot publish it anywhere else; if you keep the rights, you can publish the articles to your blogs or anywhere else you choose.
I can kill myself now. I just noticed I forgot to include an "About the author" part in my articles and a non-anchor link. Well, that's only 8 articles wasted... nadavs
Great thread. I'm subscribing to this. Always love these types of blogs. Curious question. You know how many times your hop is clicked on, how do you know that? I don't see any stats like that in clickbank, only sales. As for your explanation on getting long keywords, I use the free wordtracker tool and I rarely see long keywords, most are three or under. Thanks for starting this again. I might have to keep a thread for myself.
Interested to see how this all works out, congratulations on being able to pump out 20 articles a day though, that is quite impressive. I am doing some research myself on the difference between paying isnare and just using ezine articles to promote my affiliate marketer guides.
Jose, you and your brother have been working hard on this. You will more than deserve the residual income this should provide you with.
Jose , I wish you all the best success with that project man . 135 articles . WOW !!! .That's amazing man . Although you haven't make any sale yet keep doing the good works man . Once these articles start paying off you are going to be a very happy man . Try to target one niche at the time and try to send the readers of your article to a landing page , or squidoo or hubpages . Do something to make them buy man . Think , think hard . I just ended one of my project last night and I made $ 108 .97 with it . why did I make that money ? I don't know . I probably did something you didn't do . So right now , stop writing for a second and start asking yourself if you were a buyer , why would you buy from Mr X instead of Mr Y . and after you asked yourself that question , start applying what Mr X is doing , so you can start making sales like him . http://1monthtesting.blogspot.com/
If you sell that exclusive right articles to associate content you would have made around $400-$500 xD
