Although MS said the IE conforms to Acid 2 standards, I read that it has failed both Acid 2 & Acid 3 tests.
WHAT?! ppls still use IE, wow that is just shocking! I only use it when testing the websites i make just so i know they work on major browsers, but I'm firefox 100% baby, even after death, i hope hell's got some good servers
QFT. Don't install it if you don't want to experiment with it. And do expect bugs. This is why I hate public betas because end users get a hold of them and go crazy when something is wrong.
haahhahha, absolutely the same here Testing on IE is very important for me since like 80% of my visitors are using it...so I keep it only for that purpose. However, there are addons for FF emulating an IE view of the pages, but havent tried them yet. FF rules!
Beta products are for developers to point out bugs. If you can't help Microsoft by solving the problem, you could have reported them this bug. But you did neither. This is mean :|
Coincidentally I've just uninstalled IE8. Though the feature I do like is when you can view the page in different versions.
The more this pitiful company makes, the worse it gets. Scrap Vista, IE 8 and Live 8. They should start over and build from XP. Money grubbing whores.
To all those complaining about IE8 not passing the Acid 2 & 3 tests, one question. Does the current version of Firefox pass? I use Firefox but have no problems with IE. (Starting using Firefox for tabbed browsing long before IE7). You can bash IE all the more you like but at the end of the day which browser do people code for.
