Alright, this is what I have to say...obviously this post was helpful to some people because its a legitimate idea...and getting on DMOZ is not that hard when you know the right people...of course if you dont, its darn near impossible. I doubt this person really does have a jewelry site thats a PR7...its probably and PR4 or maybe they dont even have one... I guess the point that I am trying to make is this...I have a lot of different blogs...3 of which are PR4...but one of those I have never touched...never put anything on it...its lawofmarketing.com and there is nothing there. Some people say its a PR3 but for some reason it says PR4 on my little plugin for Firefox...the point is...that PR doesnt mean squat. What matters is how much money you make off of everything you do...can you survive off of the pay you get...because in my opinion if you make enough to survive youre doing your job right...if not, then you have a lot of work to do. Because if you are going to make a career out of this, make one out of it...dont pussy foot around like I do and not update your site regularly...There are two kinds of people in this business...there are those that want to succeed and always find a way to do so...and there are those that are "posers" that "try try try" but never seem to make it. I am not sure which category I am in yet...but I guess im trying to make a career out of it, but keeping my options open.
LOL. Let's organize a coup d'etat. He probably paid a lot to outsource the 20000 directory submission. I wonder if it's worth it.
That is alot of work....What is the URL.....How many inbound does the site have total? Backlinks are the key no doubt in the make money online business.
You can get a DMOZ listing in one day if you luck out with an active editor and a great site with unique content. But that and Yahoo directory listing are not going to help you very much on getting from pr 4 to 7. More like pr 4.01 to pr 4.08. Plus if you suddenly started getting thousands of low pr links Google would probably start ignoring all of them.
Why you people are so shocked at 20,000 directory submissions? I can easily submit a single site to some 250 - 300 directories in one hour (no i m not offering any manual directory submission service here) .... Getting your site into dmoz too is not that impossible, i have worked on 20+ sites and 3 of them are in dmoz ... so its a matter of luck. If i have doubt on anything in this particular claim, that is a PR7 in 4 months.
I am an beginner. How can I submit to 20,000 directory? I could not imagine, could you explain please
hey guys, For all you nay-sayers, I can confirm that getting 20k directories isn't that hard at all. I can prove my 6 month old site got 80k backlinks in less than 3-4 months. You can take a peek at my site and see what I say is true http://gear-vault.com (look this up in dnscoop.com) All I did was hire manual dir. submitters from DP (I'm not mentioning names... find your own LOL!) Keep your link in your sig on forums ( I post a lot on forums. i.e public relations -all-in-one ) Submit articles, and buy banner space on related websites. It's not that expensive (maybe $300 invested to get 82,000 backlinks) and it doesn't take long (3-4 months and I wasn't really trying that hard) Now accepting $donations$. LoL j/k'n!
