1. Use wrong keyword for title of your site
2. Put high keyword density
3. Put too many keywords in the Meta Keywords tags
4. Use Page Cloaking
5. Use Automatic Submission Tools
6. Too many Link Exchange in less time
7. Creating Pages Containing Only Graphics
8. Creating Hidden Text
9. Using Too many similar doorway pages
10. Not using the NOFRAMES

Dear friends,
good for mind your mistake but i want to say that number of mistakes decided by client or site owner not you and me.
above mistakes are basic mistakes and i think how can manage this?

There are very simple mistake and i think that everybody is aware of it. whoever have website is interested in seo so either their seo or webmaster have definitely informed him about this. The thing you should give is some unique mistakes which is not easily recognize by us.

And the most important thing as my friend said above is how to overcome this mistake.

"3. Put too many keywords in the Meta Keywords tags", the point is not need to mention I think. This is not necessary.

For SEO New Bie these might be 2 much important ....

 

1. Use wrong keyword for title of your site ==> agree but who will decide which keywords are wrong.

2. Put high keyword density => agree

3. Put too many keywords in the Meta Keywords tags => meta keyword tag is not important for major search engines

4. Use Page Cloaking => agree

5. Use Automatic Submission Tools =>> it wont hurt your site.

6. Too many Link Exchange in less time ==> might be but not sure, It is depending on your site and reputation of your site

7. Creating Pages Containing Only Graphics => It is against SEO but still pages which are created in graphics are not mistake

8. Creating Hidden Text =>> agree

9. Using Too many similar doorway pages ==> agree

10. Not using the NOFRAMES ==> not sure about this point, can any one explain it?

- Messing up your Redirects

yes agree with vaishali, do not use frames in your site.

for vaishali: don't use link of your site in post, you can put it in signature.
