Hi there....the no follow attribute on links was initiated by google in 2005, the aim being to prevent spammy comments on blogs conferring pagerank link love to web pages. Do follow means the no follow attribute hasn't been enabled, and that the google bots will follow the link to your web page, conferring pagerank link love to your site, boosting your google pagerank (PR) Have an exSEOllent day! Jacques
My dear friend Its opposite of "nofollow". Ok fine do follow means the website or blog is passing link juice to other site who links to that website. So who ever is having link on such website will be benifited with PR and the website who does not have nofollow in their external link is provinding thier PR directly to them So always make you each and every external website with nofollow tags so your page rank will remain stable and high. why should you give your hard efforts to others. Cool mate and enjoy your day
yeah, they'll still find the page. And even though the attribute is called "nofollow", technically they'll follow the link and it may even show up on back links (at least for yahoo). They just won't (supposedly) let the PR flow through that link. I think people just got sick of saying "no nofollow" and so started saying "dofollow"
